Growing Into Us

Growing Into Us cover for Gemini.jpg

Synopsis

Lily Collins has always chosen ambition over attachment. When a coveted executive promotion pulls her from Memphis to Dallas, she’s determined to prove she belongs—no distractions, no complications, no looking back.

Then she runs into Mark Patterson.

Her sister’s ex-husband.

What starts as chance encounters and harmless coffee turns into something far more dangerous—an undeniable connection neither of them can ignore. Mark is charming, complicated, and still carrying the weight of a failed marriage and a family that expects him to follow a carefully controlled path. Lily knows better than to get involved. She also knows she doesn’t want to walk away.

So they don’t.

What follows is a secret relationship built in stolen moments and quiet confessions—intense, addictive, and unsustainable. As their bond deepens, so do the cracks. Mark keeps her hidden. Lily keeps sacrificing pieces of herself. And the longer they pretend it’s enough, the closer they come to losing everything that matters.

When the truth finally comes out, love isn’t the only thing on the line—family, identity, and the future they both want hang in the balance.

Because loving each other was never the hardest part.

Choosing each other is.

Growing Into Us is a deeply emotional, slow-burn romance about forbidden love, second chances, and the courage it takes to build something real—out in the open, where it belongs.
