Two Ways to Read the Carver Brothers Trilogy

If you’ve been following my blog, you may already know that I’ve recently begun offering my books in two editions: an open-door romance edition and a fade-to-black edition.
The story, characters, emotional journey, and romance remain the same. The only difference is the level of intimacy shown on the page. In the fade-to-black editions, the more explicit scenes have been removed or gently closed behind the door.
This has allowed me to welcome more readers into these stories. Whether you enjoy a romance with plenty of heat or prefer the focus to remain on the emotional connection, you can choose the version that feels right for you.
And if you’re looking for a new family of characters to fall in love with, I’d love to introduce you to the Carver brothers.
The Carver Brothers Trilogy
Three brothers. One complicated legacy of control, loyalty, and love that refuses to stay buried.
Marcus is the ruthless banker who has never lost control—until he meets the woman who refuses to be intimidated by him.
Matthew is the loyal carpenter who has quietly loved his best friend for years.
Timothy is the overlooked dreamer who is finally ready to step out of his brothers’ shadows and claim something real.
Each brother has his own story, his own wounds, and his own chance at a love that will change everything.
Book One: Her Perfect Match
She was never supposed to fall for him.He was never supposed to let her go.
Aubrianna Paxton has spent her entire life with one constant: Matthew Carver.
He is her best friend. Her safe place. The man who has always been there—steady, loyal, dependable, and just out of reach.
When her relationship suddenly falls apart and painful accusations force her to question everything she thought she knew, Aubrianna runs to the one person she has always trusted. Matthew.
What she doesn’t expect is how much has changed between them.
One weekend is enough to shatter twenty years of carefully maintained boundaries. One honest moment transforms friendship into something deeper. And one devastating mistake threatens to destroy their chance at love before it has truly begun.
When fear and bad timing pull them apart, Aubrianna finds herself hundreds of miles away in Tennessee, surrounded by relatives she barely knows and forced to confront the truth she has avoided for years.
Matthew was never only her best friend. He was always the one.
But love is rarely simple—especially when pride, secrets, distance, and years of silence stand in the way.
Matthew has spent a lifetime loving Aubrianna quietly. Now, he is done waiting.
He will cross every mile, face every fear, and risk everything for the woman he has always loved—because losing her once was already more than he could bear.
From quiet mornings in a shared kitchen to emotional reunions beneath Southern skies, Her Perfect Match is a slow-burn friends-to-lovers romance about courage, forgiveness, and finally recognizing the love that has been beside you all along.
Because sometimes your perfect match has been right in front of you the entire time.
Book Two: Her Second Chance
She swore she would never fall for a Carver again.
Lydia Jane Whitaker has spent years rebuilding her life.
After escaping a relationship that nearly broke her, she has carefully restored her career, her confidence, and her sense of control. Love is no longer something she trusts. It is something she manages from a safe distance.
Then she runs into Timothy James Carver.
He is nothing like his brother.
Where Marcus once took, Timothy gives. Where Marcus controlled, Timothy listens. And where Lydia was once made to feel small, Timothy makes her feel understood, valued, and safe.
A chance encounter over coffee slowly becomes something deeper—something neither of them planned and neither can ignore.
But falling for Timothy means stepping back into the Carver family and the very world Lydia fought so hard to escape. It means confronting old wounds, buried secrets, and the possibility of another heartbreak.
As tensions rise and the past begins to close in, Lydia must decide whether to protect the life she has rebuilt or fight for a love that feels frighteningly real.
Because Timothy is not only offering her a second chance at love. He is asking her to believe she deserves one.
Her Second Chance is an emotional slow-burn romance about healing, trust, self-worth, and finding the courage to choose love after surviving the kind that caused harm.
Book Three: Her Terms Only
She trusts evidence. He trusts control. Neither is prepared for what the truth demands.
Elena Voss has built her career on discipline, instinct, and the kind of restraint powerful men often mistake for weakness.
As a federal investigator, she knows how to recognize a lie, follow the money, and dismantle even the most carefully constructed facade.
Marcus Carver is exactly the kind of man she expects to distrust.
Charming. Powerful. Untouchable. Accustomed to walking into a room and taking control of it.
But when his name appears in a case that seems almost too perfect, Elena begins to notice fractures in the story she has been given.
The evidence is convincing. The witnesses are certain.
Marcus should fit the crime. He doesn’t.
The deeper Elena digs, the more dangerous the investigation becomes—and the harder Marcus is to ignore.
He challenges her control. She threatens his. And somewhere between suspicion, attraction, and a truth someone is desperate to keep hidden, they are pulled into a game neither of them can afford to lose.
Because someone is lying. Someone is watching.
And Elena Voss does not break her own rules for anyone.
Until Marcus Carver gives her a reason to question them.
Three Brothers. Three Love Stories.
The Carver Brothers Trilogy is filled with complicated families, emotional healing, slow-burning romance, hard-earned trust, and characters who do not walk away unchanged.
Whether you prefer open-door romance or fade-to-black intimacy, both editions of all three books are now available on Amazon.
The heat level may be different, but the heart of each story remains exactly the same.
I hope you’ll choose the edition that feels right for you—and give the Carver brothers a chance to draw you into their world.
