The Loyal Disaster

Synopsis

Jonah Rhodes has no game.

He is kind, steady, hardworking, and hopelessly awkward around beautiful women. He can calm a terrified rescue dog with one hand, then trip over his own feet because Nora Whitmore looked at him too long. He says the wrong thing. Apologizes too much. Gets flustered, overheated, and accidentally suggestive without meaning to.

He is absolutely not Nora’s type.

Nora is polished, ambitious, and used to men who know how to impress a room. Men with expensive suits, perfect timing, and practiced confidence. Men who admire her beauty, her success, and her place in Dallas society—but never seem to see the woman underneath.

Jonah sees too much.

He notices when she is tired. He listens when she stops performing. He makes her laugh when she wants to stay guarded, and somehow, his messy life of rescue animals, old trucks, family barbecues, and honest devotion starts feeling more real than everything she thought she wanted.

But Jonah has spent his life being useful, safe, and overlooked. Nora may be ready to choose him, but first she has to convince the loyal disaster that he is worthy of being chosen.

A steamy contemporary romance about awkward love, emotional courage, and finding home where you least expect it.
