The Rebel and the Tower

Synopsis

Her hair belongs in a fairy tale. Unfortunately, the man trapped beside her is no prince.

Evelyn Wolfe has spent years proving she is more than her family’s scandal—and more than the overprotected sister of Dallas’s most intimidating attorney. At twenty-six, she manages communications for a historic-preservation foundation high above the city, surrounded by glass walls, tradition, and the waist-length hair everyone remembers.

Then the elevator stops.

Gabriel Tower is a tattooed corporate rogue in an immaculate suit, founder of an adaptive-reuse firm, and the last man Evelyn wants trapped beside her for two hours. His teasing turns to banter. Banter turns to confession.

When rescue arrives, Evelyn believes she revealed herself to a stranger.

She was wrong.

Gabriel is the controversial developer challenging her foundation, and words from their elevator conversation appear in his public proposal. Convinced he used her grief for advantage, Evelyn cuts her hair and prepares to fight him.

But Gabriel’s mistake is not the betrayal she believes—and the rogue threatening her tower may be the man willing to let her design her future.

The Rebel and the Tower is a fast-paced, high-heat modern fairy-tale romance featuring enemies to lovers, forced proximity, a tattooed architect hero, a sharp-witted heroine, workplace rivalry, unconventional dates, hidden vulnerability, found courage, family appearances, and a hard-won happily ever after.
