The Story Behind the Stories

Hello, and welcome to my website.

I’ve wanted to be an author for as long as I can remember. It started in a third-grade creative writing class, where I fell completely in love with storytelling. Back then, I wrote my own versions of Berenstain Bears stories and even started a mystery series in fifth grade with a main character named Tressa Spruce.

I wish I still had those early pages. They were handwritten, tucked away in notebooks that didn’t survive a move after my parents sold our family home—but the love of storytelling never left me.

Life doesn’t always give us the endings we hope for. I’ve learned that in ways both big and small. But I still believe in them—deeply. And that belief is what finds its way into every story I write.

I write emotionally intense, high-heat romantic fiction about second chances, deep connection, and the kind of love that refuses to stay buried. I’m drawn to messy, complicated emotions and the moments that change everything—because that’s where the truth lives.

I’m married and a mother of three, and my stories are shaped every day by the beautiful chaos of real life—love, family, resilience, and the quiet, fleeting moments that matter more than we realize.
