Snow and the Seven Secrets

This is the seventh—and, unless another idea refuses to leave me alone, the final—book in my Once Upon a Temptation series.

Snow and the Seven Secrets was such a fun book to write because it let me mix a few of my favorite things together. I will always love romance, especially romantic comedy, but every now and then I want a little intrigue too. Not anything overwhelmingly dark or dramatic—just enough mystery and suspense to make you wonder what is really going on and keep you turning the pages.

And that is exactly the kind of story I wanted this one to be.

London Elise Snow has spent most of her life learning how not to need too much from anyone. She wants something simple: a steady paycheck, a safe place to live, and a little stability.

Then she starts a new job at the Mara Quinn Foundation and meets Hunter White.

Hunter is observant, intense, demanding, and far too good at noticing all the things London would rather keep hidden. He frustrates her almost immediately. He also makes her laugh, respects her boundaries, and somehow makes her feel seen in ways she is not quite ready for.

The attraction between them is hard to ignore.

The secrets are even harder.

Hunter knows things about London’s past that she does not, and as strange messages begin appearing and old pieces of her life start resurfacing, London has to decide whether the man who makes her feel safest is someone she can truly trust.

At its heart, Snow and the Seven Secrets is still very much a romance. It is about learning to trust, finding family in unexpected places, letting yourself want more from life, and discovering that being loved should never mean giving up your voice or your choices.

There is also plenty of chemistry, humor, heat, and a little Snow White-inspired fun woven throughout.

I have loved writing the Once Upon a Temptation books and putting my own contemporary, grown-up spin on familiar fairy tales. If this really does turn out to be the final book in the series, I think London and Hunter were a wonderful couple to end it with.

Of course, I have learned never to say never when it comes to story ideas.
