Rewriting Us holds a deeply personal significance for me. Hunter and Ember’s story reflects a truth I recognize—the quiet ways life can strain a marriage through stress, pride, and emotional distance—and the equally powerful choice to fight for one another anyway.

Much of my writing is rooted in real-life experiences and deeply personal moments. I know firsthand what it’s like to face unexpected challenges earlier than anticipated—like navigating hot flashes before I ever thought I would—which left me feeling older than my time.

This story was born from my own journey: I was raised in a traditional environment with clearly defined gender roles, but over time I’ve come to deeply admire women like Cam—strong, capable, and unafraid to thrive in spaces not always built for them.

Over the past twenty years, I’ve written more than thirty books. I’m now in the process of preparing them for publication on Amazon—a milestone that has been years in the making.

I’ve dreamed of becoming an author since third grade, when I first fell in love with writing in a creative writing class.
