I’m so happy to finally share book three in my Making Love Count series, One Perfect Mistake.

I’ve always had a soft spot for friends-to-lovers stories. There’s something about a relationship built on years of trust, shared history, inside jokes, and knowing someone at their best and worst that feels especially meaningful to me. I love taking that foundation and asking one simple question:

What happens when friendship stops being enough?

That’s where Trina Myers and Emmett Bates come in.

But Emmett doesn’t want to be another problem she solves.

And for Trina, that may be the hardest thing of all.

One Perfect Mistake is a story about friendship becoming something more, loving someone without guarantees, learning that being wanted is very different from being needed, and finding the courage to ask for the life you really want.

There’s sharp banter, years of buried feelings, a close-knit friend group, plenty of emotional tension, and the kind of hard-won happily ever after I love writing.

Most of all, though, this is a story about two people who already know each other incredibly well discovering that there are still parts of themselves they’ve been afraid to show.

I loved spending time with Trina and Emmett, and I hope you’ll love them too.
