New Release: Three Little Words

I’m so excited to finally introduce you to my new series, Making Love Count.

This series has been living in my head for a while now, and I absolutely love the idea behind it. Each book is a fast-paced romance with a little romantic comedy mixed in, and every title will contain a number that means something to the story.

And I’m starting with Three Little Words.

The idea for this book came to me after I heard a song called Three Little Words. It was about a man and a woman who shared everything with each other—everything except those three words neither of them could bring themselves to say.

That idea stuck with me.

Almost immediately, my creative juices started flowing. I started imagining these two people in my head. Who were they? Why could they share their lives, their space, their secrets, and their affection, but not admit how they really felt?

And, most importantly, what would have to happen before one of them finally said those three little words?

That question became Prudence and Beckett’s story.

Prudence Bishop has spent three years insisting she is not in love with her roommate.

Sure, Beckett Nolan saves her a seat, steals her fries, rubs her feet after long days, and lets her live in his hoodies. And yes, they cook together, fall asleep tangled on the couch, finish each other’s sentences, and routinely get mistaken for a couple.

But Beck is reckless, relentlessly cheerful, and one year younger—which clearly means he is far too immature for anything serious.

At least, that’s what Prudence keeps telling herself.

Beck knows better than to want something Pink has already decided he can’t give her. So he hides behind bad jokes, shameless flirting, and a promise that nothing between them ever has to change.

Then one charged encounter in their kitchen turns into a dare neither of them is willing to lose.

Suddenly, friendship comes with stolen kisses, broken rules, and nights that feel dangerously close to love. But sharing a home—and a bed—is much easier than admitting what they really want.

Because sometimes the hardest part of falling in love isn’t falling at all.

It’s saying three little words.

I had so much fun writing Prudence and Beckett. I love characters who are completely obvious to everyone except themselves, and these two might be the definition of that. They know each other inside and out. They already have the friendship, the comfort, the teasing, and the intimacy.

They just have one tiny problem.

They have to admit what all of it means.

If you love romantic comedy, roommates-to-lovers, friends who have absolutely no idea they’re already acting married, plenty of chemistry, and two stubborn people struggling to say what they feel, I hope you’ll give Three Little Words a try.
