New Release: Two Weeks to Fall

If you’ve been following my blog, you already know that Two Weeks to Fall is book two in my Making Love Count series.

When I first introduced Nia and Mateo in book one as Beck and Pink’s best friends, I knew almost immediately that there was more going on between them than either of them wanted to admit. Their constant arguing, the way they challenged each other, and what Beck jokingly called their “verbal foreplay” felt like the beginning of a story I needed to look at a little more closely.

That story became Two Weeks to Fall.

Nia Alvarez has a plan for everything. Budgets. Deadlines. Relationships. Even the kind of man she believes she should fall for.

Mateo Ruiz has spent four years proving he fits absolutely none of her criteria.

He disrupts her systems, pushes every one of her buttons, and somehow always knows exactly how to get a reaction out of her. Nia is just as impossible for Mateo to ignore—brilliant, stubborn, deeply capable, and one of the only people who can challenge him without backing down.

Between failed dates, late-night projects, family dinners, and the sensory garden they’re building together for Nia’s community center, the line between irritation and attraction becomes harder and harder to defend. And the closer they get, the more they’re forced to confront the fact that chemistry was never really their problem.

What I loved most about writing Nia and Mateo was that their relationship isn’t about one of them becoming softer, quieter, or easier for the other person. They have to learn how to love each other without losing the qualities that made them clash in the first place. They have to figure out when to push, when to listen, when to stop, and when being vulnerable is worth the risk.

And, of course, they still argue.

A lot.

Two Weeks to Fall is a warm, funny, emotionally grounded spicy contemporary romance with opposites-attract energy, stubborn people who are already far more in love than they realize, plenty of banter, close friendships, family, and two people discovering that maybe they’ve been building toward each other all along.

If you love romantic comedies, friends who act suspiciously like enemies, matchmaking schemes that go completely off the rails, and couples who take far too long to recognize what everyone around them can already see, I hope you’ll give Nia and Mateo a chance.
